We have written this book to record our experiences in waveform design and signal processing for SAR. Most of the materials has been published previously in technical literature, but is gathered together here for the first time in a single reference work. This book reports the latest results in the study of waveform design method for the synthetic aperture radar (SAR) and the corresponding signal processing techniques. Novel research ideas and experimental verification for the SAR waveform design have been collected on this book, including SAR system model, advanced SAR waveform design method and the corresponding signal processing method, and the application representations in the SAR system etc. The book will be of interest to university researchers, R&D engineers and graduate students in Remote Sensing who wish to learn the core principles, methods, algorithms, and applications of SAR waveform design.
