This book shares my experience of teaching undergraduate and graduate students in political science and public policy how to plot findings to guide decision-making in scientific and professional settings. At both levels of education, I found students with different backgrounds in quantitative tools. To my surprise, younger generations of undergrads, which master many technological gadgets, are having a hard time dealing with analytics, and have no basic understanding of how to encode information obtained into a visual.
