Hello hello, and welcome to this first podcast episode! So, in that introduction you got to hear a few participants and the creator of The Barkley Marathons. The Barkley Marathons are actually two ultramarathons, a 60-mile one and a 100-mile one, that are world famous and take place in rural Tennessee every year. Tennessee is one of the states in the United States, that’s sort of central and south central United States.
Later on in this episode, we’ll learn a little bit more about the rules, the trails and sort of the black humor about this race and why it’s so famous among runners around the world. But before we get there let me just thank the Barkley movie YouTube channel for the audio…
