ARE YOU SURE?
That’s the initial response many people have when they are told they have diabetes, or prediabetes. “How can this be happening to me when I don’t eat that many sweets?” Or, “I know plenty of people who are less healthy than me and they’re fine.” Some even argue, “No one in my family has diabetes, so why did I get it?
