I am sure that the new pathology book project did not seem very exciting to any of you. You could not make sense of adding another book to the abundance of pathology books on the market. There are indeed many pathology books in print. There are multivolume, multi-paged, and quite comprehensive pathology books, as well as books that contain summarized information explaining the basic mechanisms of pathology… In fact, due to the gradual expansion of our knowledge base, the old multivolume pathology books have now been divided into many comprehensive books examining each organ or each technique. However, since the stages of writing, editing, and printing take at least 8–10 months depending on the capacity of the book, no matter how up-to-date the books are, they always become outdated. That is why a pathologist can diagnose ordinary lesions without having to look at the book; in lesions where differential diagnosis is difficult, they uses current articles rather than books. On the other hand, when a short professional update is needed in every field of pathology from time to time, these books can be overly detailed and confusing. Short student books, on the other hand, are not enough because they do not reveal all dimensions of pathology. This book is designed as a unique resource that adequately teaches all dimensions of pathology, which is sought by a medical student, a pathology resident, or a pathologist aiming to update their professional knowledge or to prepare for a professional exam. One of the greatest revolutionaries in education is undoubtedly Feynman. The famous physicist who won the Nobel Prize in 1965 was also an extraordinary educator and developed the learning technique named after him. Feynman wrote many educational physics books, arguing that a person learns best while teaching. His most important goal while writing these books was to explain physics in the simplest and most understandable way possible. In fact, he claimed that someone who could not explain a subject in a simple way that even a child could understand did not actually understand that subject himself. By applying the Feynman technique to pathology, this book aims to provide simple and concise information from all areas of pathology that even a new medical student can understand. Furthermore, our primary goal in future editions is to be the first pathology book ever published that will allow readers to examine and learn about basic lesions using virtual microscopy. I hope that the book will enlighten everyone who wants to understand pathology in all dimensions…
