They have a wide variety of applications due to their excellent physical, chemical, and mechanical properties. Alloy bronzes are also used in petrochemical industries, desalination plants, in power generators, aircraft, automotive and railway engineering applications, and electrical and building industries. Nickel aluminum bronze containing more than 9% aluminum forms the β phase.
