A true strategic thinker and an inspiring visionary, Ralph was the champion for and driving force behind APL’s development of the strategy approach detailed in this text. We recognize the enduring contributions of directors Gary Smith and Richard Roca, who laid the strategic planning foundation on which much of this work builds. Their leadership created the conditions necessary for the organization’s sustained progress in strategy development.
