مرغ سحر ناله سر کن

Hey, bird of dawn, start mourning

داغِ مرا تازه‌تر کن

زآه شرربار، این قفس را

with flames

ظلمِ ظالم، جورِ صیّاد

Oppression of the oppressor and the hunter

آشیانم، داده بر باد

has destroyed my nest (left dwindling in the wind)
