به طاها به یاسین

Hasten In My Youth

به طاها، به یاسین، به معراج احمد

به قدر و به کوثر به رضوان و طوبی

by Ghadr, by Kawthar, by Paradise, by Tree of Tooba

به وحی الهی، به قرآن جاری

by the holy revelation that is Quran,

به تورات موسی و انجیل عیسی

by the Torah of Moses and Gospel of Jesus

بسی پادشاهی کنم در گدایی

let me be a King in my begging

چو باشم گدای گدایان زهرا

a beggar amongst the beggars of Zahra (as)

چه شب‌ها که زهرا دعا کرده تا ما

what nights have passed that Zahra (as) has prayed

همه شیعه گردیم و بی‌تاب مولا

for us all to be Shia in love with the Master (as)

غلامیِ این خانواده دلیل و مراد خدا بوده از خلقت ما

serving this Family is the reason and purpose for our creation by Allah

مسیرت مشخص، امیرت مشخص

now that your direction and commander is clear,

مکن دل‌دل، ای دل، بزن دل به دریا

do not hesitate and be free like the sea

که دنیا به خسران عقبا نیرزد

that the world is not worth the loss of the hereafter

به دوری ز اولاد زهرا نیرزد

may we not be far from the Son (as) of Zahra (as)

و این زندگانیِ فانی

and this transient life,

جوانی، خوشی‌های امروز و اینجا

youth and the worldly pleasures,

به افسوسِ بسیار فردا نیرزد

is not worth the regret of the next world

اگر عاشقانه هوادار یاری

if you passionately seek to be his follower

اگر مخلصانه گرفتار یاری

if you earnestly attempt to be his follower

اگر آبرو می‌گذاری به پایش

if you place your honour in front of his feet

یقیناً، یقیناً خریدار یاری

surely, surely you have earned the title of follower

بگو چند جمعه گذشتی ز خوابت؟

how many Friday mornings did you not have rest

چه اندازه در ندبه‌ها زارِ یاری؟

and how much you were moved by Dua Nudbeh

به شانه کشیدی غم سینه‌اش را؟

did you assist in removing the sorrow from his heart

و یا چون بقیه تو سربار یاری؟

or did you increase the burden upon him like others

اگر یک نفر را به او وصل کردی

If you introduce one person to his cause

برای سپاهش تو سردار یاری

you become one of the leaders of his army

به گریه شبی را سحر کردی یا نه؟

did you cry from nights to the raising of the sun?

چه مقدار بی‌تاب و بیمار یاری؟

how much do you miss to be by his side

دل آشفته بودن دلیل کمی نیست

heart broken is your greatest reason

اگر بی قراری، بدان یارِ یاری

if you are restless know you are a true follower

و پایان این بی‌قراری بهشت است

and the outcome of this restlessness is Paradise

بهشتی که سرخوش ز دیدار یاری

a paradise were its pleasure is to gaze upon him

نسیم کرامت وزیدن گرفته

the wind of generosity and

و باران رحمت چکیدن گرفته

the rain of Mercy has descended upon us

مبادا بدوزی نگاه دلت را

may you never close your heart to the sights so clear

به مردم که بازار یوسف فروشی در این دوره بد شدیداً گرفته

of those who sell Yousef (as) so easily and cheap in this dark era

خدایا به روی درخشان مهدی

o’ Allah be the brightness of Mahdi (as)

به زلف سیاه و پریشان مهدی

by the black distressed hair of Mahdi (as)

به قلب رئوفش که دریای داغ است

by the gracious heart which is an ocean of pain

به چشمان از غصه گریان مهدی

by the eyes filled with tears of sorrow

به لب‌های گرم علی یا علی‌اش

by the lips warm with the saying of O’ Ali, O’ Ali (as)

به ذکر حسین و حسن جان مهدی

by his remembrance of his beloved Hussan and Hussain (as)

به دست کریم و نگاه رحیمش

By his benevolent hand and compassionate look

به چشم امید فقیران مهدی

by the hope in the eyes of the beggars of Mahdi (as)

به حال نیاز و قنوت نمازش

by the supplication of his prayer

به سبحان سبحان سبحان مهدی

by the saying of ”Glorious is Allah” of Mahdi (as)

به برق نگاه به خال سیاهش

by his electrifying look and his black birth mark

به عطر ملیح گریبان مهدی

by the graceful perfume of the Mahdi (as)

به حج جمیلش، به جاه جلیلش

by his beautiful ceremony of Haj and his great and lofty position

به صوت حجازی قرآن مهدی

by the Hejazi Quranie recitation of Mahdi (as)

به صبح عراق و شبانگاه شامش

by the morning of Iraq and his evening in Damascus

به آهنگ سمت خراسان مهدی

and his love towards Khorasan

به جان داده‌های مسیر عبورش

by the lovers who gave their life on his path

به شهد شهود شهیدان مهدی

by the sweet intuition of the martyrs of Mahdi (as)

مرا دائم‌الاشتیاقش بگردان

make me permanently enthusiastic for him

مرا سینه‌چاک فراقش بگردان

may I be sacrificed for his separation

تفضل بفرما بر این بندهٔ بی‌سروپا

grant to this underserving servant

مرا همدم و محرم و هم‌رکاب

make me the companion, confidant, follower of his journeys

سفرهای سوی خراسان و شام و عراقش بگردان

towards Khorasan, Syria and Iraq

یا مهدی، یامهدی مددی

O’ Mahdi (as), O’ Mahdi (as), assist me!
