At Cologne/Bonn Airport, I hold the positions of Airside duty manager and airport representative for aircraft accident investigations. My study of aerospace engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Aachen forms the solid foundation of my long-standing professional expertise. Together with my sister, Elham Montazeri, a graduate of business administration, Bachelor of Science (Technical University Cologne), business education, Master of Education (University of Cologne), and journalism, Bachelor of Arts (Technical University Cologne), we have designed this manual. The combination of our academic education and substantial professional experience allows us to meet the requirements in both the academic and the practice-oriented context. This book therefore represents a symbiotic link between theory and practical application from our long-standing professional activity and academic orientation. The authors or the publisher and its agents are not liable for personal, material, and financial damages. This book is dedicated to those who have an interest in flight operations, flight preparation, and air traffic management and intend to acquire expertise and deepen their knowledge in this area.
