The most important motivation for the emergence of this work has been to present a novel perspective on the issues discussed from the management perspective. From this point of view, it has been addressed in order to contribute to the use of the information revealed in business processes, especially for practical use. The progress brought about by technology every day, the effects of these developments on business processes, and the psychological pressure on the process owners cause the necessity to deal with the issues from an interdisciplinary perspective. It is examined in this work from an interdisciplinary perspective, which is stated about blockchain application in various sectors. Despite the speedy development process of the technological dimension of the blockchain, the handling of this technological development, especially in social sciences, lags behind. For example, while emphasizing the positive effects such as economic, social, and even individual opportunities and cost reductions, the adverse effects of blockchain applications are not emphasized. In this respect, it becomes essential to explain the said development by considering the risks arising from both practices and negative aspects.
By giving this information in the work, a study has emerged that will contribute to professionals from both academia and the business world. This work, which emerged with the authors contributing from different countries; is the result of an effort to be a reference source that will enable the emergence of new publications and new approaches in practice. In this context, we hope that it will be a source of new ideas and thoughts.
