Pharmacy education has changed during the last decades in developed countries as well as in developing countries towards self-directed learning which improves the future of pharmacy professionals’ and researchers’ skills to be lifelong learners and to be able to use, and adapt the new technologies to improve their education, practice, research, and patient care. Furthermore, technology has played an important role in education, practice, and research and contributed effectively to pharmacy educators, students, professionals, and researchers in pharmacy education, practice, and research. This book comprises fve sections containing more than 45 chapters. The fve sections are as follows: Section 1 will focus on Online Pharmacy Education related issues. It includes 14 chapters. It describes the history of pharmacy educa­tion and how online education began in Chapter 1; moreover, it describes the importance of pharmacy education in general and online pharmacy educa­tion. Pharmacy/online pharmacy degrees, certifcates, boards, curriculum-related issues, learning outcomes and competencies, technology and tools for effective online education and other pharmacy education, and online pharmacy education issues are covered in Chapters 2 to 14. Section 2 will focus on Online Pharmacy Practice related issues. It includes nine chapters. It describes how the history of pharmacy practice and online practice began in Chapter 15; moreover, it describes the importance of pharmacy practice and online pharmacy practice. It describes online pharmacies, online patient care, online prescribing, and other practice-related issues in Chapters 16 to 23. Section 3 will focus on Online Pharmacy Research related issues. It includes six chapters In Chapter 24, it describes the importance of pharmacy research and online pharmacy practice. It describes online research meth­ods and other research-related issues in Chapters 25 to 29. Section 4 will focus on Pharmacy Education Teaching Strategies. It includes 14 chapters. Section 5 will focus on Pharmacy Education Assessment and Evaluation methods. It includes four chapters about evaluation and assessment methods in pharmacy education. I hope that this book can provide pharmacy educa­tors, students, practitioners, researchers, and other readers with the neces­sary information and practical guidelines about online pharmacy education, practice, research, teaching strategies, and assessment methods in pharmacy education.
