He consumes alcohol (60–120 gm) on weekends without any history of binge. He has a history of hypertension and is on 40 mg of telmisartan. Family history was notable for coronary artery disease in his father. On examination, his height is 167 cm and body weight of 88 kg with a body mass index (BMI) of 32.83 g/m2 and a waist circumference of 89 cm. He has a BP of 136/94 mmHg and pulse rate of 88/min. Per abdomen examination is remarkable for mild hepatomegaly.
