Over the past several years, governments, for-profit enterprises, welfare organizations, and other entities have increasingly started relying on findings from the behavioral sciences to develop more “human-compliant” products, processes, and experiences for their internal and external stakeholders. This growth was perhaps catalyzed by the 2008 book Nudge by Richard Thaler and Cass Sunstein, and the subsequent establishment of the first-ever behavioral insights team within the government in the United Kingdom in 2010.
